Social Issue Design Problems

    The toy industry uses 40 tons of plastic for every $1 million in revenues and is the most plastic-intensive industry in the world. 90% of the toys on the market are made of plastic.Plastic toys are a constant purchase for parents, grand-parents. Tackling our planet’s big plastic problem, compulsive toys purchases, rather than investing in objects that could use or play with in the long run. The concept is based around ‘hoardering plastic toys’, a educational video that raise awarness for parents. Target Audience is towards adults, parents to be aware of our planet plastic problems, by consuming excessive toys buying. Raise awareness for overconsumption that result in a huge mess that pile up and eventually will go to the dumpster.

 Design Visualisation Concept 

    Inspirational research for my animation that I would include for my design motion graphic. The style that I’ve decided upon was 2D graphics with primary vibrant colors, a similar reference to how children toys are consist of bright colors that attract consumer to overly consupt unnecessary amount of plastic toys time after time. The bright color would help contrast the dull environment and make the plastic toys pop that symbolise that it hard to dispose plastic, would end up being a pile of dump in our ocean.
